Overview

HeadHonta Interview Assistant helps recruiters conduct interviews using their HeadHonta workspace. A recruiter account is required. Sign-in, CAPTCHA and multi-factor authentication take place on app.headhonta.com.

Data processed & destinations

Meeting audio

After you start capture, audio from the selected Google Meet, Zoom Web or Microsoft Teams tab is converted to mono PCM and streamed over an encrypted WebSocket to HeadHonta’s speech-to-text service. The service transcribes audio in HeadHonta infrastructure.

Raw audio is buffered in memory during processing and recovery; the extension and STT service do not write raw audio recordings to disk. Tab capture includes audio played by the tab; it does not separately record your microphone. Speakers are labelled unknown unless explicitly identified.

Candidate information & interview content

The extension accesses candidate names, email addresses, CV information and job descriptions to select interviews and display question guides. HeadHonta’s backend sends job and CV context to its configured AI provider, currently through OpenRouter, to generate questions. Transcripts and notes are saved in your HeadHonta workspace through its authenticated API.

The extension does not send analytics, advertising or telemetry events.

Browser storage

The access token, pending sign-in nonce, active capture state and unsaved note drafts are stored in Chrome session storage, which is cleared when the browser session ends.

HeadHonta’s API address and recruiter display name/email are stored locally so the extension can display its connection status. Access tokens are used only to authenticate requests to HeadHonta.

Signing out clears the extension’s session and account display information after capture is saved. Note drafts are removed after they are successfully saved.

Browser permissions

These permissions support the extension’s interview workflow.

Retention & your controls

Saved transcripts, notes and candidate records follow your workspace’s retention and deletion settings. Browser session data is temporary. Uninstalling the extension removes its browser storage.

Audio capture starts only after you click Start capture. Back, Stop & save and sign-out stop capture and save pending data; save errors are displayed for retry.

Get consent before you capture

Obtain the candidate’s informed consent before starting capture. The extension does not send a disclosure to the candidate through the meeting platform.
